Duties
Reporting to the VP of Academic Administration, The Dean of the School of Arts, Humanities, and Professional Studies, and Chair of the Visual Arts Department, duties include and courses may include: teaching Cinematic Storytelling, Group Production I, II, III, Screenwriting I & II, Short Scriptwriting. Also includes internship management, Senior Thesis Advising and Academic Advising. May include other courses in Film. Course load ranges from 34-38 hours per year with a full-time equivalent of 41-44 hours per year.
Desirable Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Master’s degree
- Professional experience in the field of film and television
- Experience in teaching preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Additional consideration will be given to candidates with a background to teach across multiple discplines in the department, which also includes: Art History, Graphic Design, Fine Art & Photography.
Compensation
Salary; $52,144-$76,314 (plus denominational benefits)
