Midori Yoshimura (‘12) graduated summa cum laude with majors in English and Spanish in the honors program. Now, she works in digital media at Stanford’s Office of University Communications, and has met the king and queen of Spain.
“The Honors Program has provided me the opportunity to enrich my understanding regarding the worlds of literature and science while exploring my chosen major: Biochemistry. This new perspective aids me throughout my college experience and allows me to exercise critical thought while expanding my intellectual horizons.” - Eric Daniels
The Honors program here at PUC is really interesting as it provides an great alternative to the general curriculum, giving those of us who are a part of it a way to experience learning in a more think-and-discuss driven environment rather than your run-of-the-mill lecture for 50 minutes. I chose to join because I knew this different style of learning would better suit my approach to classes.
