Pacific Union College's Health Services is dedicated to providing the campus community with the necessary screening of medical conditions and referrals to either our on-staff physician or local medical providers when appropriate.
Health Services wants you to know that we care about you as an individual and that all care given is strictly confidential. The goal of our department is to prevent illness; therefore, our emphasis is on education regarding your illness and encouragement to becoming an active participant in your own health care.
Entering students for spring/summer quarters are required to have their own insurance coverage. If you have a policy please check with your carrier to be sure it covers in Napa county. If you have any questions or need help with your comparison please contact our local broker at (707) 477-2107 for assistance.
The deadline for submission of your policy for spring quarter is 4/30/12 and summer quarter is 6/18/12. If we have not received your policy by these dates, you will automatically have insurance purchased for you. This policy is non-refundable.

We are often asked to write an excuse for missing class. We have found that most professors understand that anyone can have a short term illness from time to time. It is recommended that you contact them in their office or leave them a message. If they insist on verification of an illness please have them contact our office. We will need your permission to share any part of your medical condition with them including verification that you were seen in our office.
