Duties

General Responsibilities:

  • Ability to plan and execute projects 
  • Ability to read schematics
  • Assist other tradesmen
  • Estimating job and material costs
  • Follow and enforce safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, clutter free, and organized work area/office 
  • Meet deadlines
  • Recommend ways to improve production methods, and product quality
  • Record keeping
  • Research and select products
  • Use the SchoolDude work order system

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to accurately calibrate and adjust equipment and mechanical devices
  • Ability to rebuild engines and all components
  • Enters data in logs, records, and work orders accurately, in a timely manner
  • Evaluates working condition of vehicles and equipment
  • Gather estimates from outside contractors/vendors 
  • Identifies mechanical issues and makes repairs
  • Machine and equipment set-up and operation
  • Maintains fleet in a good, clean, and safe working order
  • Reports on vehicle status and condition
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Strong team player and contributor 
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Attend Daily Morning Worship Meeting
  • Living in Angwin is preferred
  • Must perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Compensation

Hourly; Compensation based on education and experience: $18-22 per hour
