Job Summary
The Napa Program Director provides leadership, management, and oversight for the LVN/EMT-P/Med-Tech V to RN program at PUC's extended campus locations. Reporting to the Dean of the School of Nursing and Emergency Management, the Director is responsible for program operations, student success initiatives, faculty support, clinical partnerships, regulatory and accreditation compliance, and campus operations. The position serves as the primary liaison between the School of Nursing, students, faculty, clinical affiliates, and community partners while ensuring the effective delivery of nursing education programs. The Director also teaches selected nursing courses and contributes to program assessment, planning, and continuous improvement efforts in support of the School of Nursing's mission and strategic goals.
Desirable Qualifications
Required:
- * Master's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university.
- * Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- * Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience as a Registered Nurse.
- * Minimum of one (1) year of teaching experience in a professional nursing
- program, as a nursing staff educator, or equivalent educational preparation
- in nursing education.
- * Must meet California Board of Registered Nursing (BRN) requirements for
- Assistant Instructor or Instructor.
- * Demonstrated experience in program coordination, leadership,
- administration, or project management.
- * Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Preferred:
- * Academic program administration or management experience.
- * Experience supporting faculty, students, and clinical partnerships.
- * Business, operations, budget, or facilities management experience.
- * Experience with accreditation, regulatory compliance, or nursing program
- evaluation.
Compensation
Salary; Placement of the new hire within the salary pay grade is dependent on qualifications and professional teaching experience. The pay grade assigned to this position ranges from $58,797 - $78,626 annually. Benefits: May include medical, retirement, paid time off, and more.
