Job Summary

The Mail and Copy Services Manager supervises and coordinates activities of clerks who open, sort, and route mail, and prepare outgoing material for mailing as well as provide copy and print production services to the campus and the community.

Desirable Qualifications

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Duties include but are not limited to: Processing incoming and outgoing mail, UPS, Federal Express and other mail services; oversee the delivery of mail on campus; hire, train, and supervise student employees.

Problem Solving - Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; Gathers and analyzes information skillfully; Develops alternative solutions; Works well in group problem solving situations; Uses reason even when dealing with emotional topics.

Customer Service - Manages difficult or emotional customer situations; Responds promptly to customer needs; Solicits customer feedback to improve service; Responds to requests for service and assistance; Meets commitments.

Compensation

Hourly; $22.89 - $26.58 (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
