Duties

The duties listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Ability to plan and execute projects
  • Assist other tradesmen
  • Estimate job and material costs
  • Follow and enforce safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, clutter free, and organized work area/office
  • Meet deadlines
  • Recommend ways to improve production methods, and product quality
  • Record keeping
  • Research and select products
  • Use the SchoolDude work order system
  • Machine and equipment set-up and operation
  • Planning and prioritizing jobs & projects

Locks and Keys:

  • Install, repair, rebuild, and service mechanical, electrical locking and closing devices
  • Responsible for designing, maintaining and record keeping for all key work on campus

Signs:

  • Build, design, and install campus and event signage
  • Work with PR and Signage Committee for consistency

Desirable Qualifications

  • Attend Daily Morning Worship Meeting
  • Available to report for duty during emergency call backs
  • Living in Angwin is preferred
  • Must perform each essential duty satisfactorily

Compensation

Hourly;

Compensation based on education and experience: $20-25 per hour
