Job Summary

The Full-Time Faculty Member in Psychology is responsible for teaching undergraduate psychology courses, advising and mentoring students, and supporting the academic mission of Pacific Union College. The position contributes to curriculum development, assessment activities, and departmental and institutional service while fostering student success and engagement in the study of human behavior and mental processes.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Psychology, or Masterʼs degree in Psychology combined with significant relevant experience.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of undergraduate teaching experience in psychology or a related discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to provide effective undergraduate instruction and support student learning.
  • Commitment to academic excellence, student mentorship, and the mission and values of Pacific Union College.
  • Experience advising, mentoring, or supporting students in an academic setting preferred.
  • Experience with curriculum development, assessment, or scholarly/professional engagement preferred.

Compensation

Salary; Placement of the new hire within the salary pay grade is dependent on qualifications and professional teaching experience. The pay grade assigned to this position ranges from $58,797 - $78,626 annually. Benefits: May include medical, retirement, paid time off, and more.
