Duties

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Planning, budgeting and maintenance of college facilities.
  • Maintaining employee records, facility blueprints, and utility maps. Maintaining roads, grounds, and buildings, collaborating with engineers, architects, and contractors to plan, design and implement projects.
  • Overseeing water treatment, supply and distribution, wastewater treatment, electrical generation supply anddistribution, energy management, and regulatory compliance for hazardous materials.
  • Determining priorities and assigning work tasks to supervisors.
  • Establishing and enforcing departmental operational policies, employee relations, and training.
  • Serving as a liaison of the college with various governmental and regulatory agencies, and other duties as assigned.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong leadership, and interpersonal talents
  • Ability to remain calm and coherent in stressful situation

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, Master’s Degree is preferred
  • Experience in staffing, budgeting, and training
  • Experience in short and long-range facilities planning
  • Ability to successfully orchestrate all aspects of capital projects
  • Customer service oriented with personal and professional emphasis
  • Experienced in employee management

Compensation

Salary; Compensation based on education and experience: $75,000-$85,000 annually
