  • Attend Daily Morning Worship Meeting

General  Duties & Responsibilities

The duties listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required:

  • Ability to plan and execute projects
  • Ability to read blueprints/plans
  • Assist other tradesmen
  • Estimating/Bidding job and material costs
  • Follow and enforce safety regulations
  • Maintain a clean, clutter free, and organized work area/office
  • Meet deadlines
  • Recommend ways to improve production methods, and product quality
  • Record keeping
  • Research and select products
  • Use the SchoolDude work order system

Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Installation and repair of electrical systems, fire alarm systems, and power generating systems
  • Installation of control and distribution apparatus such as switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels
  • Knowledge and ability to test electrical circuits of 600 volts and under, including energized equipment, and lock, tag, and test procedures
  • Measures, cuts, bends, threads, assembles, and installs electrical
  • Observes equipment to detect hazards, and need for adjustments
  • Plans new or modified installations consistent with specifications and local electrical codes
  • Prepares as built drawings showing location of wiring and equipment, or follows diagrams or blueprints
  • Proficient use of a man-lift and bucket truck
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and replace electrical wiring, lighting fixtures and power equipment

Compensation

Hourly; Compensation based on education and experience: $24-27 per hour (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
