Duties
Provides innovation in academic leadership, administrative oversight, and strategic direction for the Online Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. The Director ensures academic quality, program coherence, faculty coordination, and alignment with institutional mission while supporting student success in an online learning environment.
Desirable Qualifications
- Provides leadership, oversight, and strategic planning for the Online MBA program.
- Oversees curriculum development, assessment, and continuous improvement of the Online MBA in collaboration with faculty and academic leadership.
- Teaches graduate-level courses in business administration, as needed, within the prescribed curriculum.
- Recruits, orients, mentors, and evaluates adjunct and full-time faculty teaching in the Online MBA program.
- Ensures program compliance with institutional policies, accreditation standards, and assessment requirements.
- Coordinates course scheduling, faculty assignments, and instructional delivery for the Online MBA program.
- Works closely with Online Learning, Enrollment, Marketing, and Advising to support recruitment, retention, and student success.
- Advises Online MBA students on academic progress, degree planning, and professional development.
- Monitors student learning outcomes and leads data-informed program review and assessment initiatives.
- Participates in budget planning and resource allocation for the Online MBA program.
- Represents the Online MBA program in campus committees, accreditation processes, and external partnerships as appropriate.
- Engages in professional development and maintains currency in business education and online pedagogy.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position provides functional supervision of Online MBA faculty and instructional staff, including coordination, mentoring, and evaluation, but does not include direct HR supervisory authority unless otherwise assigned.
Education
PhD or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Demands: Requires sitting, standing, bending and reaching. May need to lift items up to 25 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate standard office equipment.
Job Conditions: Frequent travel, computer use, unscheduled interruptions, and speaking, reading, and understanding English. Occasional: working more than 40 hours/week, weekend work, on-call/after-hours work, fast-paced work, and driving/operating machinery or vehicles.
Compensation
Salary; $72-78K commensurate with stipend (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)
