Computer Configuration Recommendation
All Computers:
- Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) - to protect your computer from power outages which sometimes occur at PUC
- Property insurance coverage specifically for the computer. This would be obtained through your personal insurer
Minimum Recommended PC Configuration:
- Any machine running Windows 7 or Windows 8 (recommended)
- Current antivirus software like Microsoft Security Essentials.
- A word processing program (Word, OpenOffice, etc)
Recommended Mac Configuration:
- Any machine running Mac OS X Lion (v 10.7 or higher)
- A word processing program (MS Office Mac version)
- Airport card (for wireless network access)
