Psychology Workshop to be Held at PUC

Pacific Union College, in cooperation with the Institute for Behavioral Healthcare, will be offering a one-day clinical workshop entitled, "Addiction and Mental Health: Introduction to Drug Treatment for Mental Health Professionals." The session will be held at PUC's Paulin Hall on September 17, 1999.
Led by S. Alex Stalcup, M.D., a professional lecturer on drug abuse treatment and relapse prevention, the workshop will focus on the application of the principles of community-based drug treatment for mental health clients. Dr. Stalcup provides participants with a practical, systematic approach to individualized drug treatment. The session has specially been designed for psychologists and other mental health professionals, with seven CE/CME credit hours being awarded to those attending.
