Conflict Resolution Certificate

The Certificate in Conflict Resolution is offered in-person Fall of 2022 and online in the Spring of 2023. The course explores the theory and practice of conflict resolution strategies in negotiation skills applicable in most areas of life, such as interpersonal relationships, parenting, salary negotiations, and more. Students will examine creative ap- proaches to respectfully and assertively negotiate mutually beneficial and lasting agreements and challenge them to propose solutions that honor the interests of both parties leading to “win-win” scenarios.

Requirements

Four classes are required for the Certificate in Conflict Resolution:

  • General Psychology (4 credits)
  • The Family (4 credits)
  • Assertive Behavior (2 credits)
  • Negotiation (2 credits)
