Clerical position in Payroll Customer service window duties include: inquiries for Student Employment and Payroll, data entry of employment contracts, setting up deductions, creating and ending positions in JBDev timekeeping system, and alphabetic filing.  Skills needed: attention to detail (crucial), fast and accurate keyboarding, neat and legible handwriting, numeric keypad entry, excellent organization skills, ability to take initiative but know when to ask questions, high level of confidentiality, prompt and responsible with good work ethic, sense of humor, and ability to work well with others.  Position shared with the Accounting Department when things are slow in Payroll.  Summer work is available. Student Finance Student Finance has a position beginning this winter quarter to continue Summer and the following school year. Duties include customer service, filing, answering phones, data entry and helping with the ID card system. Land Management Land management is looking for workers to start immediately. Duties include but are not limited to: moving irrigation pipes, splitting wood, and other manual labor. Tutors Apply for a tutoring job if you are at least a sophomore, responsible and dependable, can explain concepts well to peers, and excel in one (or more) of these subject areas:  Biology, Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Writing Lab/English, Nutrition, Microbiology, all Nursing classes, Physics, Statistics, History, Spanish/Modern Languages. Cogen/Heating Plant Position The facilities management department is looking for students who can work at least ten hours a week, are responsible and willing to learn, can work during the school year and during breaks, have a valid CA driver’s license with a clear driving record, and are willing to be trained in steam line/heating/electrical systems. Responsibilities will include on duty monitoring of Co-gen operations, answering phones and radios, and relaying messages over the phone and/or radio. Calistoga Pet Clinic - We are in need of two to three employees for reception and client care, Veterinary assistance, and bookkeeping (Quickbooks) entry and attention. Pay rate and work hours will be dependent upon the students’ availability and skills. Website Developer I am looking for a part-time student worker to do computer work and website development. The position is in Angwin and I can provide transportation if needed. The pay rate is negotiable with a minimum of $12 per hour. This position needs to be filled ASAP, so the sooner you apply, the more likely you are to get the job. Personal Assistant –  We are looking to hire a part-time student who has an interest in marketing/business.  This person must be focused and be able to work unsupervised.  They must be tech-savvy and have a can-do-attitude.

Clif Family Farm Intern - The Farm Intern will take direction from the Farm Manager in the farming, harvesting, delivering, packing, seeding, and other farm-related tasks in Pope Valley and Angwin at the Clif Family Farm, the co-founders of the Clif Bar. This is a part-time position (6-16 hours per week) focused on the farm’s weekly harvest schedule. Ability to work Thursdays is a must. This candidate will be extremely flexible and enjoy a “high-change” environment where priorities shift from day to day.  Candidates who have the ability to connect through positive and respectful interaction, inspire the success of those around them, have an interest in rural farming, and create extraordinary experiences, solutions and ideas will be at the top of our list. Park Aide Napa County Fairground Parks and Recreation department is looking for a park aide for the Mount St. Helena Golf Course in Calistoga. This position will have up to 29 hours of available work. Duties include checking in of guests at the golf course, taking tee time reservations, assisting guests with the outfitting of rental golf clubs or other equipment, monitoring the golf course for adherence to course rules, serving as cashier for the Pro Shop and providing light custodial/maintenance. The pay rate is $12.59 - $16.37 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Administrative/Studio Assistant Wiedmann Sculpture Studios Primary tasks include RFP/RFQ public arts database research, completing applications, photo management, outreach and website/database work. Other tasks may include hands-on work creating and installing sculptures. Most tasks are flex hours from home, but some tasks will be help on-site at Wiedmann Sculpture Studios in St. Helena. The application must be self-motivated, work independently, and have a computer. Not required, but pluses include good photography skills, photo editing skills, interest in arts, sculpture, or metal fabrication experience. The pay rate is $20 per hour. Stix & Stones Gallery Assistant - Duties include the following: learn to pack and ship furniture and fragile art, learn PC-based POS register, generate shipping orders on PC, assist with unpacking new items, and all around general help with gallery activities. Youth Basketball Coach - St Helena Parks and Recreation is looking for 1-2 coaches for a Boys basketball team and 1-2 coaches for a Girls basketball team for children under 14 years old. Health Spa St. Helena We are looking for a guest services team member for a club resort environment that exudes a fitness, wellness, and feel-good vibe. Duties include customer service, overseeing daily operations, and practicing hospitality. Part-time evening or weekend hours are available at a competitive wage rate. This is a great fit for a student going into the hospitality or fitness industry.

Fitness First Calistoga - We are looking to hire personal trainers, group exercise instructors, and fitness coaches for our fitness program. We will train them to teach classes and/or become personal trainers if they are studying in a fitness related field. The pay rate is $20/hr-$50/hr. Early morning, evenings, and weekends needed. Sitter/Driver - We are looking for a student to drive my 13-year-old to and from school. The drive would be from St. Helena to Napa who would be interested in a few hours of work, on a flexible schedule, during the week. A good driving record is key and a vibrant, outgoing personality is a plus. The job will be for driving my daughter, who is currently 13, to and from Napa.  There are times in the early morning where the return to Angwin would be by around 9am. In the afternoon, leaving St. Helena around 2:30/2:40 is optimal heading to Napa. She attends school in Napa and we live in St. Helena. My car is available for the driving as needed. Babysitter: 3-Year-Old Twins - We are looking for a fun-loving, reliable babysitter for our twin 3 1/2 year olds (one boy, one girl) from 12:30 to 3:30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays at our home in Calistoga. The babysitter will pick up the twins from school at 12:00 PM, pick up the eldest from school at 3:15 PM, and watch the twins until 3:30. On-Call Rehabilitation Assistants – Assist clients with independent living skills, prompt for activities of the day, teach skills needed to assist client to move to a lower level of care, work closely with the team, document client’s progress & participation in our program.

Nurses – Nurses needed to administer medication, coordinate with treatment team, communicate with physicians for orders and report of clients’ condition, documentation of orders, treatments, daily and weekly progress and concerns, also lead group on medication & medical issues.

Ramapo Camp Counselor We are looking for camp counselors to make a difference in the lives of children with special needs. This is a 9-week program that starts mid-June and ends mid-August that provides free room and board. We provide a stipend for $1,300 to $3,500 for the duration of the program. Junior San Francisco Giants Ambassador - Junior Giants, the flagship program of the Giants Community Fund, is a free, noncompetitive and innovative baseball program for over 24,000 underserved boys and girls ages 5-18 years old. Ambassadors will serve as liaisons between the Fund’s office in San Francisco and Junior Giants leagues located in targeted regions throughout California, Nevada and Oregon. Live with and serve as mentors to the organization’s Staff Assistants: young adults with special needs who are seeking to become self-sufficient while building social and job skills.
