Tutors – Apply for a tutoring job now if you are at least a sophomore, responsible and dependable, can explain concepts well to peers, and excel in one (or more) of these subject areas: Biology, Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Writing Lab/English, Nutrition, Microbiology, All Nursing classes, Physics, Statistics, History, Spanish/Modern Languages. Facilities Management – The facilities management department is now hiring. Various areas include: Co-Generation Plant, Plumbing, Sign Shop, Trash/Recycle Plant, Waste Water, and Welding. Students must be very dependable, hard-working and able to work with minimal supervision once training is completed. A current DL (with a clear driving record) is required to successfully perform the assigned duties. Students must be able to work a minimum of eight hours per week and two hours per shift. Landscape Department – Landscaping position available which will include work consisting of maintaining campus flowers, irrigation system maintenance and repair, cleaning up litter, replacing shrubs and trees, and re-landscaping. Hours are at least 8 hours per week, shifts of 2 or more hours at a time. Shifts are between 7:30am-12:00pm and 1:00pm-4:30pm Monday-Thursday and 6:00AM-12:00AM on Fridays. Cogen/Heating Plant Position – The facilities management department is looking for students who can work at least ten hours a week, are responsible and willing to learn, can work during the school year and during breaks, has a valid CA driver’s license with a clear driving record, and is willing to be trained in stream line/heating/electrical systems. Public Safety – Accepting applications from students interested in working as either a Communications Dispatcher and/or Campus Patrol Officer. These are continuous filling/recruitment positions. Although upperclassmen are preferred, all applications can be accepted and students can be employed from all grade levels. Worship Music Leader – First Presbyterian Church (FPC) in Napa is looking for someone who will select songs and utilize media for worship services on Sundays. Applicant must be able to commit 8-10 hours per week for rehearsals, service, and meetings as well as being available every Sunday from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. The pay is about $18 an hour. Caregiver Position – Looking for a caregiver to help with a 91yr old woman who lives in Calistoga. She speaks both English and Spanish, but Spanish is her preference. We Care Animal Rescue – We Care Animal Rescue is a private nonprofit organization that serves as refuge for homeless cats and dogs in the Napa Valley. They’re looking for a part-time cleaner to join their team. The cleaner is responsible for cleaning buildings at the rescue facility including scooping litter boxes, sweeping, mopping, laundry, washing dishes and other learning activities. Dietary Staff – Looking for an aide to help with dishwashing, light food preparation, some light baking, kitchen cleaning, as well as serving beverages to our clients. Also looking for a cook to prepare meals for up to sixty people, serve the meals to our clients, and do light kitchen cleaning.
On-Call Rehabilitation Assistants – Assist clients with independent living skills, prompt for activities of the day, teach skills needed to assist client to move to a lower level of care, work closely with the team, document clients progress & participation in program.
Nurses – Nurses needed to administer medication, coordinate with treatment team, communicate with physicians for orders and report of clients’ condition, documentation of orders, treatments, daily and weekly progress and concerns, also lead group on medication & medical issues.
