Tutors Apply for a tutoring job if you are at least a sophomore, responsible and dependable, can explain concepts well to peers, and excel in one (or more) of these subject areas:  Biology, Chemistry/Organic Chemistry, Biochemistry, Writing Lab/English, Nutrition, Microbiology, all Nursing classes, Physics, Statistics, History, Spanish/Modern Languages. Facilities Management­ ­– The facilities management department is now hiring. Various areas include Co-Generation Plant, Plumbing, Sign Shop, Trash/Recycle Plant, Waste Water, and Welding. Students must be dependable, hardworking, and able to work with minimal supervision once training is complete. A current driver’s license (with a clear driving record) is required to perform the assigned duties. Students must be able to work a minimum of eight hours per week and two hours per shift. Landscape Department A landscaping position is available. Job duties would include maintaining campus flowers, irrigation system maintenance and repair, cleaning up litter, replacing shrubs and trees, and re-landscaping. Students must be able to work a minimum of eight hours per week and two hours per shift. Shifts are 7:30AM-12PM and 1PM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday and 6AM-12PM on Fridays. Cogen/Heating Plant Position The facilities management department is looking for students who can work at least ten hours a week, are responsible and willing to learn, can work during the school year and during breaks, have a valid CA driver’s license with a clear driving record, and are willing to be trained in steam line/heating/electrical systems. Responsibilities will include on duty monitoring of Co-gen operations, answering phones and radios, and relaying messages over the phone and/or radio. Administrative Candidate – Rayonier Inc. is seeking a current student/alumni part time administrative candidate to assist busy departments. Will provide support for projects and tasks as needed, with emphasis on accounting assistance, proofreading, filing, data entry, setting up files, and preparation of mailing. Must have experience with word processing and computer equipment. Knowledge of alphabetic, numeric, subject and chronological indexing and filing rules and systems. Approximately 11 hours a week. Child CareSeeking a responsible, energetic, engaged individual(s) for afternoons this semester for a mature 10 year-old boy. Responsibilities include pick-up from school in St. Helena and taking to and from after school activities. Approximately 4 hours/day, some days could be longer. Personal Assistant Looking for someone to be a personal assistant for a dynamic woman of 80. Because of this, a female student is preferred. Personal assistant must live here and be on the property for most weekends and most nights. The job is to drive, sometimes cook, and to have computer and organizational skills. When another family member is present, the personal assistant can have those nights off. Part-time day work will be arranged with the employer, taking into account the student’s school schedule. There will be a modest salary and a room provided along with meals, depending on the hours worked. The night hours (6PM – 6AM) are in trade for the room. Hours worked beyond these will be paid. Child Care Provider- PUC Elementary is looking for a college student to help with the extended care program. The program hours are Monday-Thursday, 3:00-5:30 PM and Friday, 12:00-4:30 PM. It would be 3 to 6 hour per week. Students must have experience working with grade school children and be an SDA member. Teen Center – St. Helena Teen Center is looking for an afternoon staff to help create and maintain a positive, safe environment for middle-school youth. You must be a high-school graduate, age 18+ with prior leadership experience working with youth incorporating activities as arts & crafts, sports, games, computers instructions, homework tutoring, etc. Current certification in Community CPR, First Aid & Safety. Must be available to work at least 4 business days from 3:00 pm. – 6:30 pm. Pay is $17.14-20.80 per hour. Duties include: Responsible for the direct supervision and safety of all after-school Teen Center participants. Implements & follows all Teen Center Guidelines, Policies & Procedures. Plans, creates and participates in Teen Center activities, providing the youth with an active, positive role model. Warehouse OperatorA wine storage and distribution company in American Canyon is looking for a warehouse operator. The warehouse operator would perform operational functions required for all aspects of shipping, receiving, and accurate inventory in the warehouse while putting a priority on the care, custody, and control of the customers’ product. One or two years of experience in warehousing or inventory is preferred, must be able to manage time to meet required deadlines and to multi-task. Must have strong calculative, analytical, and communication skills. Should be able to operate warehouse machinery including but not limited to:  pallet jack, order picker, fork-lift, and reach truck; must also be able to operate computer, printer, phone, and calculator. On-Call Rehabilitation Assistants – Assist clients with independent living skills, prompt for activities of the day, teach skills needed to assist client to move to a lower level of care, work closely with the team, document client’s progress & participation in our program.

Nurses – Nurses needed to administer medication, coordinate with treatment team, communicate with physicians for orders and report of clients’ condition, documentation of orders, treatments, daily and weekly progress and concerns, also lead group on medication & medical issues.
