Public Safety - (707.965.6551) is accepting applications from students interested in working as either a Communications Dispatcher and/or Campus Patrol Officer. These are continuous filling/recruitment positions. Although upperclassmen are preferred, all applications can be accepted and students can be employed from all grade levels. Public Safety does perform a background review on all applicants, with specific personal traits expected to include: dependability, reliability, ethical work habits, responsibility, and diligence. Off-Campus Employment

Graphic Designer – Looking for someone who loves to design books and magazine layouts. Interested in someone who can create beautiful layouts that will enhance the visual stories of their clients. Designer should be well versed in and own a computer with Adobe Creative Suite specifically Photoshop CS6 and in Design CS6. Must be willing to collaborate with supervisor on the design, have a fast internet connection, and the ability to meet specific deadlines. Pay ranges from $250-300 per project. Calistoga Hospitality Center – is looking for someone to help complete basic responsibilities including, washing and buffing glassware, monitoring dishwasher, maintaining cleanliness of kitchen and Visitors Centers, ordering and receiving supplies, and any other duties as assigned. Anticipated weekly schedule is Tuesday-Wednesday 9:00am - 4:00pm and Friday – Sunday 11:00am – 5:00pm. Pay rate is $13.00 per hour. Babysitter – Looking for a “hands on” babysitter for a 7 year old son. Residence is less than 10 minutes from PUC. Must have childcare experience, own a dependable cehicle, and have a clean driving record. Responsibilities include: pick up from school in St. Helena (3.15pm) and transportation to and from carious activities along with time at home. Looking for someone who can work Monday - Friday from 1 or 2 pm - 6 pm, and Saturday’s, possibly all day from 10-5pm, and occasional evenings. Housekeeper/Gardener – needed at a local Angwin home. Housekeeper: needs to be a very good and hard worker, job will require regular house cleaning duties. Gardener: needs to be able to do some lifting, mowing, and regular yard maintenance. Positions can be done by one person or divided into two positions. Boys & Girls Club/Teen Center (Calistoga Branch) - The Calistoga Boys & Girls Club is looking for Recreational Aides. Aides will be an integral part of the support staff team and work directly with our club members, 7-12 graders. Qualified candidates will be enthusiastic to help with activities, such as artistic, cooking, academic, or athletic abilities, and have some experience working with school aged youth. Responsibilities are to assist the Program Director in developing and implementing programs within the Teen Center’s after-school program. Group leadership and the understanding of group dynamics is needed. Mandatory Negative TB test, fingerprint clearance, and the ability to be CPR and First Aid certified are required. Must be available to work weekday afternoons, schedule is flexible. Starting pay is $10-11/hr depending on experience with an average of 20-25 hours per week. See Payroll window for more information. Part Time Recreational Aides - The City of St. Helena is seeking part-time recreation employees for the upcoming school year. The Recreation Department is hiring Recreation Aides to work Monday-Friday from 3-6 pm at the Teen Center. The Teen Center provides no cost after-school programs for youth in grades 6-8 throughout the school year. The purpose of the center is to provide youth with a safe recreational environment to enhance social skills, promote self-confidence, and teach responsibility and leadership.  Those interested in youth development, sports & recreation, teaching, or the arts are highly encouraged to apply. Youth Soccer Officials - The Recreation Department is seeking Youth Soccer Officials for the Fall 2014 league. The league consists of girls and boys teams from the ages of 4-13 years of age. The majority of the games are held during the evenings on week-days with an occasional Saturday game. Extended Care Provider – PUC Elementary has an opening for an Extended Care Provider for the upcoming school year of 2014-2015. Position will require about 3-6 hours per week depending on hours and availability. The program runs Monday-Thursday 3:00-5:30, and Friday 12:00-4:30. Occasional days will be half days for the school and will require the providers to be at work by 12:00 (Usually on Wednesday or Thursday). After School Program Instructor – Howell Mountain Elementary is looking for an after school program instructor. The position would include working closely with children, grades K-8, being able to work independently, use a creative an educational approach to tasks, and be able to effectively instruct 20 children. The position will also work closely with other school and after school staff. Hourly rate is $15/hour depending on experience and any related Degrees. Rehabilitation Assistant – Crestwood, mental health treatment program in Angwin is looking for on-call applicants to work with those who suffer from Mental Health issues. A high school diploma or the equivalent is required, and previous experience is preferred. Job would include working directly with clients in their daily routines around the facility. Three daily shifts are available: 7:00am-3:30pm, 3:00pm-11:30pm, and 11:00pm-7:30am. Pay is depending on experience and can range from $9.50-$12/hr. The North American Division (NAD) Treasury Department is looking for a Training and Implementation Specialist who will be responsible for the coordination of implementation and training of designated employees within the NAD, implementation of the Adventist Accounting Software International (AASI) and the Adventist Payroll Program (APS), and provide first-tier support for all Unions in NAD.  Requires Bachelor’s (BA/BS) in Accounting or Business.  Experience in computer-related field preferred. Graduate degree a plus. Knowledge of AASI and APS software preferred. Minimum of three to four years relevant successful experience is required to fulfill essential job functions.   Work is varied and performed within a team context with limited supervision.  Must be able to work independently to meet established deadlines.
