Housing Department- The Housing Department is seeking student employees to fill student positions. Requirements include a valid driver’s license and good driving record. Experience in janitorial, painting, yard work, and possibly skilled labor in electrical, plumbing, and carpentry is preferred but not required. Library – Techie student worker needed. The library and Pitcairn Islands Study Center is looking to hire someone to do simple website editing. Applicant should have experience with basic HTML. Academic Service-Learning – Student opening as Service-Learning Coordinator Assistant. Position would start the first week of Fall Quarter, wage rate is hourly, hours would be about ten per week. Duties include but are not limited to: managing online service-learning database, coordinating transportation and drivers, collecting and recording quarterly service-learning hours, gathering content for annual newsletter, potentially driving for activities, recruiting and coordinating volunteers for Angwin to Angwish and other service-learning oriented events. Desirable skills: punctual and highly organized, professional writing for marketing material and emails, understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Drive/Docs, and experience or training in marketing and social media. Cogen/Heating Plant Position – The facilities management department is looking for students who can work at least ten hours a week, are responsible and willing to learn, can work during the school year and during breaks, has a valid CA driver’s license with a clear driving record, and is willing to be trained in stream line/heating/electrical systems. The duties will include on duty monitoring of Co-gen operations, answering phones and radios, and relaying messages over the phone and/or radio. For more information call Matt at (707) 965-7141.
Facilities Management –The facilities management department is looking for student workers. They must be very dependable, hard-working and able to work with minimal supervision once training is completed. Public Safety- Accepting applications from students interested in working as either a Communications Dispatcher and/or Campus Patrol Officer. These are continuous filling/recruitment positions. Although upperclassmen are preferred, all applications can be accepted and students can be employed from all grade levels. Public Safety does perform a background review on all applicants, with specific personal traits expected to include: dependability, reliability, ethical work habits, responsibility, and diligence. Dietary Staff – Looking for an aide to help with dishwashing, light food preparation, some light baking, kitchen cleaning, as well as serving beverages to our clients. Also looking for a cook to prepare meals for up to sixty people, serve the meals to our clients, and do light kitchen cleaning.
On-Call Rehabilitation Assistants – Assist clients with independent living skills, prompt for activities of the day, teach skills needed to assist client to move to a lower level of care, work closely with the team, document clients progress & participation in program.
Nurses – Nurses needed to administer medication, coordinate with treatment team, communicate with physicians for orders and report of clients condition, documentation of orders, treatments, daily and weekly progress and concerns, also lead group on medication & medical issues.
Part-Time Sales Associate Position – At Flats Napa Valley in St. Helena is seeking a professional, responsible, experienced sales associate. This position is part-time and requires weekend availability. A desire to connect with customers and promote the unique style and brand is a must.
