ResponseCard (Clickers)

Changing Channels:

  • Hit 'Menu' and 'Yes' to leave presentation mode.
  • Scroll down and enter 'Select Channel.'
  • Input new channel or 'Sel' key to keep current channel.
NOTE: Your teacher will inform you which channel is being used for that class. If you have multiple classes with Clickers, channels will have to be changed before each class.

Setting Your Information:

  • Hit 'Menu' and 'Yes' to leave presentation mode.
  • Scroll down and enter 'Setup' then enter 'User Data.'
  • Select 2 to edit.
  • Select 1 to change your first name, 2 to change your last name and 3 to change your User ID.
NOTE: Use the 1 and 3 keys to scrull left and right respectively; strike 'Sel' to enter the letter selected and 'CLR' to delete letters.

Sending User Data

  • Hit 'Menu' and 'Yes' to leave presentation mode.
  • Select 'Send User Data'
  • Confirm you are on the correct channel and hit 'Enter' to send the data.

Finding Your Unit/Device ID:

  • Hit 'Menu' and 'Yes' to leave presentation mode.
  • Scroll down and enter 'Setup' then enter 'User ID.'
NOTE: The User ID found here is identical to the Device ID found on the back of your ResponseCard XR.

Changing Channels:

  • Use the right soft-key to open the menu.
  • Select 'Find Channels'
  • The NXT Response Card will scan for available channels.
  • If more than one channel is available, use the left and right directional keys to select the channel given by your instructor.
NOTE: Your teacher will inform you which channel is being used for that class. If you have multiple classes with Clickers, channels will have to be changed before each class.

Setting Your Information:

  • Use the right soft-key to open the menu.
  • Scroll left and select 'Your I.D.'
  • Enter your name using the keypad.

Sending User Data

The ResponseCard NXT does not have this functionality. If your instructor requests this, they will need to manually add your Device ID to the participant list.

Finding Your Unit/Device ID:

  • Use the right soft-key to open the menu.
  • Scroll right and select 'Device Info' to view your Device ID.
NOTE: The User ID found here is identical to the Device ID found on the back of your ResponseCard NXT.
