Inventory and Merchandising Associate

Duties:

  • Model professionalism and respect among customers and fellow employees.
  • Recording inventory for the store which includes counting stock, identifying outdated items, stocking and downstocking product throughout the store.
  • Merchandising old and new product for the store.
  • Resetting aisles by bringing in new product, rearranging shelves and fixtures.
  • Cleaning aisles which include, using strong organization skills to face and prep product, dusting, wiping down shelves, ensuring wire brackets and wire guards are in good condition. 
  • Updating proper price tags using identification skills and applying location codes for each product.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • At least 18 years of age.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to conduct multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Basic computer skills and understanding of computer programs and handheld devices.
  • Able to creatively display product and efficiently use available space. 
  • Ability to handle long periods of activity; climbing ladders, lifting, bringing down boxes, standing for a majority of the time. 
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and varying hours.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Reliable transportation. 
  • Ability to use pallet jack/forklift to move boxes and pallets. (Training can be provided)
