Duties:
Reporting
to the Facilities Director and Associate Facilities Director, Major duties
include: putting together bids on projects and jobs as needed. Other duties include but are not limited to:
Applies coats of paint, varnish, stain, enamel, or lacquer to decorate and
protect interior or exterior surfaces, trimmings, and fixtures of buildings and
other structures. Campus consist of 1
million square feet of building, 2.5 miles of road, 3500 foot airstrip, plus
cabinets doors, automotive, an other accessory items that need paint and
finish.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Training and applied experience in trade areas of
general painting, selection of colors, types of finishes, application rates,
etc.
- At least two years painting trade experience in painting and
finishes
- Strong
team player and contributor
- Able to
handle multiple projects
- Able to
work well under pressure
- Working knowledge of all types of construction materials
- Strong
oral and written communication skills
- Ability to estimate job costs and materials needs
