Duties
- The Student Employment Coordinator will report directly to the Payroll Coordinator. Duties may be, but are not limited to, the following:
- Process applications and contracts for students seeking employment on campus.
- Work with campus hiring departments to manage Handshake student job postings for on and off campus jobs.
- Liaison with payroll on student employment payroll issues
- Liaison with cashier who provides back-up coverage for breaks and short absences.
- Manage student employment email address
- Manage key requests and key distribution
- Data Entry of manual time sheets and pay period adjustments
- Supervise student worker up to 5 hrs/wk to help with filing
- Data gathering as needed related to student employment
- Other duties as directed and assigned by supervisor
Desirable Qualifications
- Associate Degree or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Power Point
- Customer service friendly and interact well with others
- Strong organizational skills
- Able to take initiative and work independently as well as part of a team
