Duties
Goals
- Provide clout and consistency to the process of tracking and collecting payments
- Serve as the Digital Backbone of the office
- Take responsibility from Director for certain programs
Specific Responsibilities
- Track and follow up on payments
- Establish/Manage Financial Clearance Process, conjunction with the Student Financial Counselors
- Import/Export all SAIG
- Reconcile Title IV aid programs
- Manage/reconcile the Cal Grant program
- Learn/understand/optimize the Campus Data base program Colleague
Desirable Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in business/humanities or related field preferred
- Prior student financial aid experience beneficial
- Minimum two years experience in related area (educational institution preferred)
- Commitment to Adventist education and the mission of PUC
- Able to maintain confidentiality
- Able to contribute positively to the office team as well as the larger college family
- Strong computer skills, Microsoft applications and student learning systems such as canvas
- Able to maintain superior customer service and a calm demeanor in high stress situations
- Able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
