Directs marketing strategy, planning, and support for Admissions of Pacific Union College. Supervises and directs the activities of various levels of marketing staff using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgment. Supports marketing executives with written content for internal and external communication channels. Manages external communications for the college ensuring its messages are consistent.

  • Oversees marketing strategy including campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR in support of the admissions team
  • Works closely with the admissions counselors; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate materials and presentations
  • Supervises and directs activities of communications staff using both professional and supervisory discretion and independent judgement
  • Supports marketing executives with written content for internal and external communication channels
  • Manages blogs
  • Creates written and video press releases
  • Works with staff writers to develop and deploy relevant stories
  • Collaborates with other leaders in managing the CRM and is responsible for the majority of the content used to communicate to prospective students
  • Implements communications plans to increase brand awareness and recognition
  • Develops relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline
  • Monitors press releases related to the company and its brand and maximizes opportunities for positive PR and playing down any negative PR
