Duties

Handles a wide range of admissions data entry tasks; must be well organized, flexible, and enjoy the challenge of supporting diverse programs and services; interacts with prospective students and their families, faculty and staff, constituents and community members; handles confidential information in a professional and discreet manner. Provides support for the Director of Admissions; processes mail, answers the phones, processes paper work; handles electronic communications; and supervises student employees. Delivers effective personalized customer service to prospective students, their families and all external and internal people contacting Enrollment, Marketing and Communication.

Desirable Qualifications

Essential Functions:  

     
  1. Assists the Director of Admissions: Works with the Director of Admissions on management of the admissions process
  2.  
  3. Data Entry: Enters data for inquiry cards, applications, standard test scores, recommendations, transcripts, and supporting data for the entire college application process
  4.  
  5. Manages the admissions@puc.edu email address: facilitates sending admissions communication to prospective students, and vendors
  6.  
  7. Manages Mail: Processes incoming and outgoing mail for admissions
  8.  
  9. Generates Lists: Creates mailing and calling lists for recruitment marketing
  10.  
  11. Utilizes the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Tool: Data entry and data analysis
  12.  
  13. Utilizes the Colleague Database: Enters data with accuracy and confidentiality
  14.  
  15. Supervises student employees: Trains and manages student employees on data entry
  16.  
  17. Operates Paper Filing System: Uses filing system with completeness and accuracy

Provide leadership/oversight of student workers

Multi-Tasker: Is highly organized and able to work independently. Able to juggle many projects at once; keeps good records, and utilizes our CRM effectively. Able to delegate appropriately to student employees.
Collaborator: Utilizing relator skills (see above), establishes bond with prospective students, principals, registrars, faculty and staff throughout the community and campus. Helps campus community to understand the importance of the PUC story for prospective students, inviting input and forging partnerships.

Education: Bachelor's degree and experience in higher education is preferred. 
Experience: Prior office experience preferred.

Language Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills. Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Computer Skills: Word, Google Docs, CRM preferred, Colleague preferred
