World Languages & Cultures

Hold the world accountable.

Deepen your cultural knowledge through critical study of the complex processes of globalization that profoundly affect politics, economics, culture, society, and the environment.

We're Flexible

The GDS program is partially online, and can be paired with any major for a flexible experience learning to understand the world in which we live.

Travel the World

Students in this program are required to spend time studying abroad, offering cultural and linguistic exposure as well as academic growth. This can be done via Adventist Colleges Abroad, as a student missionary, or other approved ways.

Personalize Your Studies

GDS students can follow their passions, choosing from a combination of religion, communication, environmental studies, and sociology courses, and pairing the GDS emphasis with any major.
