Saving Our Legacy: Board of Trustees Votes Not to Sell PUC Land

In an historic move, the Pacific Union College Board of Trustees voted Monday to withdraw from negotiations for the sale of more than 100 acres of agricultural land. Trustees rejected a multi-million-dollar proposal from a Napa County winery.

Pacific Union College proudly announces the 2017 recipients of the Maxwell Scholarship, the college’s most prestigious scholarship. Incoming freshmen Bethany Erb, Victoria Gabardi, Alex Nelson, Emma Tyner, and Justin Youn were selected as the newest Maxwell Scholars, joining a group of 35 students awarded since the establishment of the scholarship in 2010.

On May 11, 2017, the Pacific Union College Board of Trustees announced Dr. Robert A. Cushman Jr. has been selected as the new president of Pacific Union College. Cushman currently serves as the vice president for academic administration for Walla Walla University in Walla Walla, Wash., and has spent the last 26 years in Adventist education serving in various capacities.
