Women's Basketball

The PUC Woman's Basketball Program has had a rich history during its time in the NAIA Cal Pac Conference. Previous years have seen our program in the Cal Pac playoffs every year competing for a chance to go to the National Championship games in Sioux City, Iowa.

Under Head Coach George Barcenas and his experienced staff the program plays an exciting brand of basketball. Defense is played at a relentless pace that is both attacking and physical. Combine that with a free-flowing offense and you have a recipe of a team that is fun to watch.

Family, Commitment and Hard Work are the pillars of this program. But the hard work is not just on the court. The Woman's Basketball program boasts a team grade point average of 3.5, one of the highest in the PUC Athletic Department. Our players also focus on outreach by mentoring young girls and helping in the local community.

Further, the program strives to win the sportsmanship award every year in the Cal Pac Conference. Currently we have won this distinguished award four years in a row. This is yet another tribute to the coaching staff's commitment to teaching the players how to be a first-class person as much as a first-class athlete.

If you are a student-athlete that would like to be a part of our special school and program please fill out our Recruit Questionnaire and we will be in touch with you.
