SA Senate

Student Senate is comprised of students that represent their respective residence halls: Andre, Graf, Grainger, McReynolds, Newton, Nichol, and Winning, as well as the community (Village). These senators serve for one school year (Fall, Winter, and Spring Quarter), with the option to serve multiple years, pending reelection. Elections for Senate are held during Spring quarter for service during the following school year. During the school year, senators are assigned to specific committees within the Senate to ensure that all aspects and needs of student life are properly addressed. The Student Senate operates alongside the Student Association under the delegation of the SA Executive Vice President. Meetings are weekly on Wednesdays at 9:00 pm in the Fireside Room. Attendance is welcome to all students unless an executive session is called by the SA President. Minutes of each meeting are taken by the Legislative Secretary and available to any student upon request. The most recent Senate documents are available online via Canvas, The Source.
