Religion Department Albion Retreat

Pacific Union College’s religion and theology majors spent the second weekend of the school year on their annual retreat at PUC’s Albion Retreat and Learning Center. The group of over sixty students and professors enjoyed a weekend of spiritual support as part of the department’s Ministry Colloquium course.

The students coordinated the special weekend retreat. Sam Smith, a senior theology major, spoke to his peers for church on Sabbath morning, while other students shared their talents and testimonies throughout the weekend. The annual Bible Bowl game and canoeing, tide-pooling, and time at the beach added an element of fun to the sunny weekend on the Mendocino Coast.
