I had one of the best Christmas breaks! Over the break, I was able to work a few days with my dad, spend time with my brothers, and be as lazy as my parents would let me. All those things were great, but the best thing that happened this Christmas break was getting engaged to my girlfriend of over two years, Lauren Armstrong. Asking her wasn’t the hard part; asking her dad for his permission was. It was one of the most nerve-racking things I have ever done in my life. After he gave me the thumbs up, it was easy sailing from there.

Now that the break is over, it’s time to get back into school mode. Starting off this new quarter is exciting. My goal is to graduate this June, so I’m doing what I need to do in order to get that accomplished. I am currently taking 19 credits for winter quarter. Taking so many credits can get stressful at times, but luckily I have ways to relieve some stress. Keeping up with a regular exercise routine definitely helps. Another one is my job working for PUC’s landscaping department. Being able to work outdoors and get my hands dirty is a great way to enjoy work and relieve some stress at the same time.

I look forward to graduating this year and getting things ready to get married in the spring of 2014. Life is definitely getting good!
