With midterms this week, some people may not have noticed that the World Series started. But I am a baseball fanatic! To be specific, I am a San Francisco Giants fanatic. This past week has been amazing! Between watching the Giants game either at the gym or at the Grind (campus coffee house), or working on and attending a Halloween reunion for my mom’s old high school, this week has been full of adventures.

When my family and I attended the Halloween party, my sister and I were winning raffle prizes left and right, but when my sister won the best prize of all, it clinched the night! It was a Matt Cain, who is a pitcher for the San Francisco Giants, t-shirt, foam finger, and poster. The best part is that she gave it to me! So, on Monday evening, when the Giants played the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 7, I watched the game in the Grind, wearing my shirt and supporting the greatest team in history as they won the pennant!

I hope to one day become a Sports Announcer for the San Francisco Giants and take Amy Gutierrez’s job when she retires. God has been working miracles this week and I know that it can only get better! I also feel that ending this past week by delivering a persuasive speech about how the Giants are the best team in the world has amped me to have a fantastic week to come!
