Spring has finally sprung up on the “Holy Hill.” I wake up every morning to the sound of the birds singing the joys of spring. The sun is shining brightly, warming all our faces. Easter weekend came and went, with our own PUC traditions. Traditions that my friends and I have created over the years—of coloring our easter eggs to remind us of home.

Now that the sun is out, I am excited for daily hikes on the trails nearby. I’m also planning on trips to Lake Berryessa to absorb the sun and the beautiful scenery with my friends. Spring quarter is my favorite quarter, because of all the laughter around campus.

People are excited for graduation, for it is just around the corner. Even though we miss our families, we have our own family upon this “Holy Hill.” We will celebrate spring with joy and laughter and I cannot wait till next year to do it all over again.

Smiling brightly,
