Between intramurals games, religion papers, planning the talent show, planning my outfit for the banquet, working on the Campus Chronicle, and finishing my graduate school applications, I'm not sure how I found time to write this. My boyfriend, who works in the PUC Public Relations office, begged me to do the student blog for this week.

This week, the campus was still buzzing with excitement after Josh Jewett's beyond half-court shot to win the Pioneer's last regular season game in overtime last Thursday. In colloquy this Thursday, they showed video from three Bay Area news stations that showed the shot and the chaos that ensued as the student spectators stormed the court and hoisted Josh on their shoulders.

Intramurals have become rather intense lately. It's almost playoffs, so the level of play has increased a bit. My basketball team won their game last night by one point in a rather exciting game (my boyfriend said it was the most exciting women's basketball game he's ever watched, which means a lot coming from him). My futsal team didn't do as well on Tuesday, and we'll see how my floor hockey team does. I'm glad it isn't shorts season because my legs are covered in bruises from all of my games.

I'm looking forward to the weekend. This Saturday night, I'm co-hosting the SA talent show with my friend Carignane. We aren't really sure how the program is going to go, but hopefully people will be entertained. The banquet is also this weekend on Sunday night. I'm really excited to go, especially since my date and I get to go for free this year because I'm an SA officer. This year we're going to Teatro Zinzanni on Pier 29 in San Francisco. I've always wanted to visit this restaurant/circus, so I hope it's a lot of fun. Instead of doing my homework, maybe I'll work on my outfit for Sunday. Gold shoes or black?
