Yippee and yahoo! Its Benefits Fair time, ya'll! Come visit the Wild West, play some games, win some prizes and learn lots of new things about how to make your benefits work for you!
The fair will be Thursday, May 3 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Dining Commons side rooms with the chuck wagon will be dishin' up grub from 12 to 1. You don't want to miss this rootin', tootin', hootin', hollarin' good time!

Open Benefits Enrollment
The month of June is open enrollment for your PUC benefits. This is the time for you to review your benefits package, make any changes, and discuss your options with a knowledgeable HR representative.
All benefits changes and updates are due by mid-June for a July 1, 2012 start date, and AFLAC benefits MUST be renewed every year.

Your health benefits now cover counseling from nutrition consultant Vicki Saunders, up to $100 per hour and 30 visits per year. Clients with a diagnosis or doctor's referral will be covered at 80 percent after their annual deductible has been met. A discount may be offered if the client is paying cash.
Some types of counseling are covered at 100 percent, including obesity counseling and wellness and prevention—clients who are trying to improve their diet to avoid serious health problems before they start. There is no deductible to meet for wellness and prevention counseling.
Clients may self-refer or be referred by the employee wellness program and still be covered as part of the college wellness program. Clients who are employee spouses or children, or who are covered under another insurance plan, must be pre-approved by Gayln Bowers.
