Resistance Training (recommended 2x per week)
Every Tuesday and Thursday the Weight Room is open from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. exclusively for faculty and staff. Not sure where to begin?  Contact Mike Hellie for an introduction to the use of equipment and recommended exercises for your fitness level and goals.

30 Minute Walking Club (Aerobic Exercise is recommended 3-5x per week)
Every Monday and Wednesday at noon, Holly Jeske & friends meet for a group walk open to all. If you are interested in joining, meet in front of Business Office with your walking shoes on!  We start together, but sometimes split into smaller groups of differing pace and distance.   30 minutes is our goal, but even 10 minutes will improve your day and your life – Join Us!

Yoga Class (Flexibility and strength training is recommended 2x per week)    
West Hall Annex  Thursday mornings 6:15 a.m. to 7:30 a.m.  Flexibility and Strength-building while rejuvenating. Contact Instructor Jodi Earls for questions 815-4368.  10 sessions for $110. 

Chair Massage (Stress Reduction is recommended daily)
Twice a month, a different certified Massage Therapist will give free fifteen minute chair massages. This is a VERY POPULAR benefit.  Emails announcing the next massage date are sent via the Wellness group email and the schedule fills quickly. Keep your eyes open for all Wellness emails so you won’t miss out!    Then call ext. 6330 to schedule your appointment.

Please stop by the office to look through our selection to see what interests you and help you achieve your goals. The Wellness Office is in West Hall Annex, Room 205. Call ahead for availability of a specific resource.

Come peruse the selection and borrow without worry.  The “Angwin Emporium,” AKA Dorcas/Adventist Community Services also has a VAST selection of Cookbooks, Health books, and every other kind of (non-offensive) non-fiction and fiction imaginable.  Take a half hour some Tuesday between 8a.m. and 3p.m. for treasure hunting!
