$59,209 - $75,960 (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)

Duties:
Reporting to the Vice President for Academic Administration , the Associate Academic Dean for Adult and Distance Learning is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of online adult degree and distance learning programs, including admissions, financial aid, student advising, registration, faculty development, curriculum design, and accreditation issues.  The position is also responsible for  monitoring student success, working with learning platform designers, collaborating  with academic departments and  faculty committees to create programs, creating alliances with other institutions, coordinating  the development of marketing materials, and facilitating a strong working relationship with partner organizations.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree
  • Experience administering adult/distance programs (preferred)
  • Strong people skills and emotional intelligence
  • Ability to work collaboratively, both as a servant leader and as a member of a team
  • Proficient in MS Office and digital environment
  • An entrepreneurial, innovative approach
  • Organizational and analytical skills
  • Commitment to Adventist education and the mission of PUC
