The Public Safety Department of Pacific Union College functions as the safety and security department for the college. The department also is the dispatch center for the Angwin Community Ambulance company and oversees parking services.

Public Safety is the dispatch center for Angwin Ambulance and the on-campus Health Services nurse. From off-campus, dial (707) 965-7111

For emergency assistance, you may either dial the emergency numbers stated above, or dial 911. The college's phone system is capable of routing your call whether you dial 911 directly (without the preceding '9' for an outside line), or if you dial 9-911 (with the preceding '9'). Either dialing pattern will connect your call to the Napa County 911 Emergency Dispatcher in Napa. Dialing 911 from a cellular phone will route your call to the San Francisco bay area, and not Napa so you'll want to be very clear with the cellular 911 operator that your call is located in Napa County. You may dial (707) 253-0911 from your cell phone to reach the Napa County Emergency 911 Dispatcher and it is highly encouraged that you program this number into your cell phone as a speed dial.

Vehicle Registration

Online vehicle registration is completed through Lantern and is available off-campus only for new and current PUC students. Faculty, staff, visitors, prep-students, and For-Sale-Lot vehicles must be registered through an on campus computer at the Faculty/Staff vehicle regsitration form or in person at the Public Safety office.
