Logos are one of the most visual ways we communicate our corporate identity. It is a symbol of the school; and when employed incorrectly, it reflects badly on the school. Therefore, PUC is very protective of where and how it is used—even on campus. Permission to use the college's logo must come from the public relations office. This is the college’s means for maintaining the integrity of the logo and for insuring consistent corporate identity.
Even after receiving permission to use the logo, there are strict rules on how the logo can be used. It cannot be dissected (such as separating the image from the name) or altered (usage of different fonts or colors) in any way. This is standard procedure for corporate identities and is not specific to PUC.
To ask about using the college logo, write pr@puc.edu or call (707) 965-6303.
