Installing Ad-aware

1. Go to the Download.com
2. Click "Download Now" (Be sure to save it to a place where you can find it. For example, the Desktop.)
3. Double-Click on the file you just downloaded
4. Click "Next"
5. Click the box next to "I accept the license agreement"
6. Click "Next" four times
7. Click "Finish"
8. The program should run automatically
9. Click "Webupdate" (This is a picture of a planet in the upper right hand corner of the Ad-Aware window.)
10. Click "Connect"
11. Click "OK" (This will only be if it finds updates--usually when you first install, it will.)
12. Click "Finish"
13. Click "Start"
14. Select "Smart Scan"
15. Click "Next" (This could take 10-15 min.)
16. Click "Next" (This is only if it finds spy/ad-ware on your computer. If it doesn't find anything, click "Finish.")
17. If all the boxes are selected then click "Next," otherwise, right-click on one of the boxes, and go to "Select all objects." Then click "Next."
18. Click "OK"
