Problem: None of the links on the menu work
Solution: Make sure you are using a supported browser (Internet Explorer, Mozilla, etc.)
-
Problem: My username and password do not work.
Solution: Make sure the username is completely lowercase. Make sure the password you entered is the last six numbers of your Social Security Number. Example: SSN# 123-45-6789 then the password is 456789
-
Problem: The screen says I can't register for x reason.
Solution: Follow the instructions on the screen
-
Problem: I received a lot of gibberish text on the screen.
Solution: If there is the word "java" somewhere in the gibberish then press back and click the button again.
-
Problem: Some of my classes have "failed" for the status.
Solution: Read the error message in the next column to the right for the explanation.
-
Problem: It won't let me register for a class without taking another class.
Solution:If it is asking you for the same class with an 'L' at the end (i.e. CHEM-111-01 and CHEM-111L-01) then you need to sign up for the lab for that class at the same time. Or you need to take the prerequisite class first.
-
Problem: I see a screen telling me to press a nonexistent Menu button.
Solution: Press the back button and then the Menu button. Redo the last thing you were trying to do before you saw this screen. You probably got this error because you used the back button. Don't use the back button unless you get an error screen.
