Wage Rate:
Hourly; Commensurate upon degree and experience (plus denominational benefits, depending upon qualifications and experience)

Supervision of all federally mandated HIPPA record keeping (includes but not limited to medical information, visit notes, correspondence with other medical care facilities and providers, tracking and data entry of medical information when indicated). Fully responsible for accounts receivable and AR tracking. Fully responsible for all cash/credit card management. Chart audits when requested by department director. Supervision and direction of student labor. Responsible for communication with outside companies in the performance of clinical duties as assigned by department director. Manages all aspects of admission and health requirements for entering and transfer students, which include the communication track notification system. Ordering of all office supplies/Maintenance of office equipment. Responsible for receptionist duties (or delegation of these duties) which include answering phones, responding to non-medical phone/email/faxed messages and requests, appointment schedules for medical providers, filing, and management of database of clinic registration information.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • At least one year of college and or technical school. Three to six months related experience. Medical office experience or equivalent combination of experience and education preferred.
  • Able to maintain strict confidentiality within HIPPA guidelines
  • Uses appropriate releases and authorizations when working with medical information
  • Strong computer skills/ willing and able to increase skill levels as updates and changes are made in software products. Microsoft Word and Excel experience
  • Positive staff member of medical team
  • Approachable and shows caring and compassion to campus population
  • Presents self professionally in conduct, dress, and attitude
  • Active participant in group decision-making that affects medical/ front office staff in the performance of clinic duties
