Duties:
Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, duties include: responsible for implementing a comprehensive major gift program to increase philanthropic support to Pacific Union College; function as an active leader in the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewarding of individuals to secure major gifts for the College; define objectives, priorities, and strategies for major gift development related to the ongoing fundraising activities of the College in collaboration with the vice president for advancement, administration, and colleagues; manage a major gift portfolio of 75-100 prospects and donors; execute a comprehensive development strategy to identify, cultivate and solicit alumni, parents, constituents, and local community members; strategically work with them through the development process.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in related field or 2-3yrs fundraising experience
  • Proven success as a collaborative team member in a fundraising environment
  • Proven success in major gift fundraising, prospect identification, cultivation,  solicitation, and stewardship
  • Proven ability to establish and maintain an excellent relationship with donors
  • Proven self starter preferably with higher education experience
  • Passion to expand fundraising expertise and grow as a development professional
