There’s nothing like putting your Christianity into action. Campus Ministries, sponsored by the Student Association, works with the campus chaplain in planning a variety of community outreach activities and worship opportunities. You can sign up for existing ministries or start your own. The Agape Feast Ministry is a campus ministry focused on welcoming in the Sabbath by way of an Agape Feast. Agape Feast provides an excellent atmosphere for both worship and fellowship in a beautiful natural setting. The activities of the Agape Feast include foot washing and breaking of bread. An Agape Feast takes place once a month in an area surrounding P.U.C. immediately before Friday night Vespers and provides both a meal and an opportunity for students to take part in this ministry themselves.
The Big Tuesday Ministry focuses on providing students with a relaxed way for praise and fellowship with each other in God’s presence. The Big Tuesday services include prayer, worship, and fellowship portions, which aim to involve all that attend. At Big Tuesday, all musicians are welcome to bring their instruments to join in with the acoustic worship service. Big Tuesday meets Tuesday nights at 9:30p.m. in Scales Chapel.
Help to give kids from broken homes a chance to experience God through your love, stability, friendship, and time. Every Saturday we get together with them, take them to church, eat, and do fun activities. Make a child’s day! Join us.
Come and enjoy doing random acts of kindness, praise nights, prayers with random people, service projects, and more.
Interactions, in the Fireside Room, is a cozy place after Friday Vespers to relax and hang out with friends, make new ones, and enjoy light refreshments. We’d love to have your help to make this the best place to be on Friday nights!
Health Ministries helps students live a healthier Christian lifestyle by health events and blood drives.
Reach Ministry is a great way to make new friends, participate in a service activity, and get off the hill on weekends. Reach outings consist of a group from PUC going out to a church and doing a vespers, Sabbath School, or church service. Two times a year we go up to Leoni Meadows to help with Bible Camps as family group leaders, musicians, actors, and much more.
If you’re interesting in music, singing, speaking, drama, working with youth, storytelling, technology, sound or anything else you can think of, Reach is the ministry for you.
You are invited to journey with us through Scripture and songs of praise and meditation. Join us as we lift our hearts and prayers in a novel experience of worship. This mid-week service is designed to facilitate worship so you may come as you are. The essence of this worship is not to express what you are, but whom you came to worship. Lift. Worship. Pure and simple.
In Dauphinee Chapel, you stumble upon several dozen girls in PJs and slippers, singing at the top of their lungs. Slumber party? Nope, you’ve walked into Virtuous Women, PUC’s only ministry just for girls — or rather, women. Virtuous Women is a vibrant group of young women who are seeking the Lord and together figuring out exactly what it means to be virtuous.
Virtuous Women meets once a month ready with powerful speakers, fun giveaways like fuzzy slippers and jelly beans, and all-girl praise bands to help the girls get their jam on and sing the stress away. It’s a place for girls to come as they are (PJs and slippers encouraged) to support each other in Christ as they navigate the fun, work and stresses of college life. It is a place of fellowship where girls can meet together to grow in God and with each other.
Friday night, right after Vespers, Sabbath is just getting started. So why don’t we celebrate! Meet in Scales Chapel for modern praise and worship. Sing along with your friends and a wide variety of bands.
Come visit the homeless in the Napa Valley on Sabbath afternoons and provide them with food and drink. But not just that, we show them love by listening, touching, and praying with them. Then you will see how they hunger for more than just food. Feed the need!
