Annual Fund
The Annual Fund encourages alumni, students, parents, and friends to make an annual financial commitment to the college. These gifts are used in areas of greatest need – for scholarships, academic innovation and student life. By supporting The Annual Fund, you can have a direct and immediate impact on today's students and provide hundreds of young people access to quality Christian education.
The Fund is the primary source of philanthropic support dollars for the college’s top priorities in education. Annual gifts to The Annual Fund enable the college to invest strategically in students, faculty, and special projects. Areas of investment include worthy student scholarships, residence hall improvements, laboratory upgrades and access to technology.
Nearly 70 percent of today's students rely on some sort of financial aid through scholarships, grants, loans, or employment. Additionally, tuition does not fully fund the college’s operating costs, covering instead about 80 percent. The remaining 20 percent of the operating budget is funded by gifts from constituents, friends and alumni. While this preserves PUC, it does not provide the opportunity for it to thrive through enhancements that can greatly improve student life and educational opportunities. Philanthropy must fill these and other gaps.
It is the PUC experience that continues to draw generation after generation back to this school. The experience of a Christian education on a beautiful mountain in the prestigious Napa Valley and the chance to make friends to journey through the rest of life with is an experience worth repeating. It is a privilege to perpetuate this life passage for future generations; to make the “PUC experience” available to many young people for years to come.
