Because tuition only covers about two thirds of the cost of running a college, philanthropic gifts are an important part of keeping the mission of PUC alive. Gifts are the primary source of funding for major building campaigns, special improvements to the college's functions and infrastructure, and endowed scholarships for students.
When you give a gift to PUC, you are ensuring that the students of today and tomorrow share your experience of an excellent education at a spectacular Adventist college. Your gifts make a real, measureable difference to your alma mater and to the young people who are following in your footsteps at Pacific Union College.
PUC is committed to keeping you informed about what we are doing with your gifts. In addition, the college is proud to recognize the generosity of those who make a special annual commitment.
This year's special fundraising project is a bus for PUC! Until now, travelling groups such as Pioneers athletic teams, musical ensembles, classes on off-campus learning trips, and students volunteering for off-site service projects have had to use rented transportation. That adds up. Your gift to the PUC Bus Fund will ensure ready, reliable, economical transportation that will reflect the quality of the students who use it!
This annual campaign recruits partners to further PUC's mission by giving funds that will go wherever the need is greatest on campus. Whether it provides vital educational resources, scholarships for outstanding students, compensation for excellent faculty, or improvements to campus facilities, your gift will make a difference in PUC's mission to provide top-quality Christian education.
You can contribute to the mission of PUC in ways besides financial giving! There are many needs that you can fill at PUC with something tangible you own. Each department has a Wish List of items that could serve its students—including lab equipment, musical instruments, computers, and much more. See what's on your favorite department's Wish List.
$1 for every year of PUC history
This group honors PUC's legacy with an annual gift of a dollar for every year since the college's founding in 1882.
$500 to $999 per academic year
People who give at this amount join PUC's longest tradition of giving. Committee members receive an invitation to a special annual reception at the home of President Heather J. Knight, as well as other exclusive events on campus. They also wear distinctive insignia at PUC events such as Homecoming, and are listed in the annual Donor Issue of ViewPoint.
$1,000 to $4,999 per academic year
President's Circle members show a special commitment to the college and its mission, and therefore have several opportunities each year to meet with President Knight and discuss the college's future. They receive special invitations to all high-end events on campus, as well as the President's annual reception for major donors. They also receive and wear special insignia at all PUC alumni functions, and are listed in the annual Donor Issue of ViewPoint.
$5,000 to $9,999
President's Circle members who go above and beyond in their commitment to the college deserve special consideration in the future of the college. That's why members of the President's Inner Circle are the first to be notified of major events and decisions on campus. These leaders have the ear of President Knight on a variety of issues, and receive invitations to campus events including the President's exclusive annual reception. They also wear special insignia showing their level of commitment at all college functions, and are listed in the annual Donor Issue of ViewPoint.
