Biography:
Monte D. Butler, Ph.D., M.S.W., department chair, social work program director, professor of social work, specializes in administration, gerontology, poverty policy, and program evaluation. He has served as Assistant Director of Adventist Community Team Services for Loma Linda University Church, Program Consultant for the Utah State Division of Aging and Adult Services, and Treatment Supervisor for the Utah State Division of Aging and Adult Services. He's into long-distance cycling, weight lifting, and using non-standard materials (walking the aisles of Home Depot) to create needed tools/solutions.
