Biography:
Born in Cuba, came to USA in 1989. Always wanted to go into the healthcare profession, and quickly learned after obtaining my Nursing Assistant Certificate at sixteen that nursing was just what I was looking for. Having the privilege of being born to a Seventh Day Adventist pastor, I was raised in the Adventist school system. Today I have the opportunity to serve God and the church teaching nursing at Pacific Union College. I am definitely passionate about the nursing profession, and it is a thrill teaching something I love so much. As a nursing instructor at PUC, I have the awesome opportunity to share my knowledge of nursing and at the same time be an instrument of service for those I encounter. What a privilege!
