Student Opportunities

Clubs, Honor Societies, and Activities

Our recreation department plays a big part in the students' experience here at PUC. We provide a wide range of activities to fulfill their needs physically, mentally and socially.

Intramurals: Our intramural program is very popular, with many students participating each quarter. Sports included are flag football and volleyball (fall), basketball and futsal (winter), softball, baseball and soccer (spring). We also run special events such as tennis and badminton tournaments. You can keep on top of all the latest happenings by logging on to recradio.org, a weekly podcast.

Athletics: We belong to NAIA division II and are charter members in the California Pacific Conference. We have teams in Women's Volleyball, Men's and Women's Cross Country, Men's and Women's Basketball and Men's Soccer. Our student athletes work hard and our coaches have developed dedicated teams. This dedication has generated a great deal of school spirit on campus and at games, primarily through the creation of "The Posse," which is a growing group of students who are represented by a mascot, t-shirts, and a special section in the bleachers.

We also received the California Pacific Conference 2007 Sportsmanship Award in recognition for our athletes' outstanding conduct and uplifting spirit during this year's play. We take pride in how our athletes present themselves on and off the court.

Our Men's Basketball program just finished a spectacular season which ended in the first time ever hosting a playoff game at PUC.

Student Employment

We offer a large number of student employment opportunities within our departments. They include: Lifeguards, weight room supervisions, fitness center supervisors, gym supervisors, intramural officials, intramural setup crews, and office help.
