Graduates of the programs in exercise science, health and nutrition may find careers in sports medicine, physical therapy, dentistry, or athletic training. Other areas include teaching and coaching, the health and fitness industry, corporate wellness programs, sporting goods retail, and city, industrial, or private recreational programs.
Professional training may be continued at various universities and state colleges, provided the student maintains a sufficient grade point average and secures an adequate score on the Graduate Record Examination or the Miller's Analogy Test. These advanced programs would result in further study in master's or doctoral programs.
Salaries may range from $30,000 to $60,000 annually, depending on the field and area
We are very proud of our former graduates. We are represented well amongst our Seventh-day Adventist schools in the Pacific Union Conference. We also have a large number of graduates teaching in the California public school system. We are very excited over the accomplishment our graduates in our own local area as well. In the past four years seven graduates began teaching in Napa and Sonoma counties school districts.
