Biography:
Mei Ann Teo, B.A., specializes in theatre and is the PUC Artist in Residence. Teo began her study of theatre in Singapore through the rigorous Theatre Studies and Drama program with John Lofthourse. She has trained with the SITI company and Anne Bogart in NY, as well as the DAH Theater in Belgrade. She worked at the Berkeley Repertory for two years, assisting directing for master directors like Moises Kaufman, Les Waters, and Tony Taccone. Currently, she is an artistic associate of Crowded Fire, Cutting Ball and the Theatre of Yugen and continues to direct and produce plays at PUC and in the Bay Area. She loves to eat well, read well, and travel far and away.
