An emergency medical technician can find many opportunities to volunteer in the community. In Angwin, CA the local ambulance company is staffed completely by volunteer EMT’s. The local fire department is an additional opportunity. Not only does the chance to volunteer provide valuable experience for the individual but it provides a higher level of care for the community.
Major in Emergency Services—A.S.
The A.S. in emergency services is designed to help facilitate the student’s entrance into an emergency medical career. Students may choose to continue their training to the level of paramedic or in emergency services management.
